On Tuesday, October 18th, at 1400 UTC, we'll be upgrading Kiln On Demand to version 3.1.562. Upgrades will occur at each account's local midnight, based on its regional settings. Upgrades shouldn't cause service interruptions for most accounts, but large accounts may see up to a minute of downtime. All upgrades should be finished by October 19th, 1400 UTC (1000 EDT).
Between 4:16 AM and 10:23 AM on Tuesday 4 October (8:16 AM and 2:23 PM GMT) we had intermittent load issues on one of our systems. This caused transient slowdowns and timeouts throughout the issue window, usually lasting 5-15 minutes each. We discovered a set of repositories that were causing disproportionate load on our service, and took steps to remediate the load while preserving the integrity of Kiln. At this time the repository remediation is complete and Kiln should be performing as normal.
As always, please contact us with any questions or concerns.
