We're going to be tweaking some web server values on Thursday morning UTC (Wednesday night, EDT). Currently, there are some conditions which will cause one of our application pools to be halted on some nights. Our load-balancer takes care of it in a general sense, but some customers may be noticing aborted Mercurial actions. Obviously, that dog won't hunt.
The tweak will take mere moments; it will generate a recycle of the application pool. We'll be doing essentially a "rolling brown-out". Customers should expect aborted connections. This service interruption will last a total of about 5 minutes, with the maintenance itself being completed by 0230 UTC (2230 EDT).
