This is just a quick note to let everyone know that we (our employees and technology) are doing fine, despite our position in New York City:
- None of our employees are at the office because that would suck for them. They are, however, working from home! Many are outside evacuation zones and mandatory power-down zones, so we expect continuity from that angle.
- Our datacenter has staff on-site, which sucks for them. They're in position to ensure continuity of the physical and networking infrastructure.
- We have contingency plans in place to ensure we can continue to work on issues as normal during the severe weather.
- We're endeavoring to provide the exact same level of customer service as we would normally. Tricky, but we're managing splendidly!
Given the preparation work that's gone into this, we are confident that all of our services will remain available to our customers throughout the weather. Consider this the "Everything is Perfectly Fine Alarm."
Obviously, if something happens, we will post here to let you know as soon as we can.
