Earlier this morning, Kiln On Demand started acting... odd. While pushes and pulls were working as expected, the website itself was very sluggish and occasionally timing out. After a lot of investigation, the bug was discovered and squashed.
While the bug itself was a Black Swan (see Joel's post for more explaination), I see a lot of opportunity to tighten up our monitoring infrastructure so that we might better identify the layers at fault.
